We're hosting our first Derby Party!
This ticketed event will last from 2 till 7 pm. Come and go as you wish but be sure to be with us for the 6:50 Post Time aired on numerous TVs added throughout the venue for this special occasion.
Ladies and Gentlemen are encouraged to wear appropriate derby attire to look your best for Tops in Lex. As an extra incentive, Polly Singer of Couture Hats and Veils is sponsoring a derby hat contest with a $200 cash prize. Your ticket includes a traditional Mint Julep in a commemorative Julep cup and Hors d’oeuvres catered by Holly Hill Inn. The Hors d’oeuvres menu is inspired by traditional Kentucky favorites such as the Hot Brown, Country Ham, Mint Juleps, and Bourbon.
Adding to the atmosphere of our lovely courtyard, The Woodsheep will treat us to sounds rooted in the deepest wellsprings of traditional folk music.
