Connect the Dots - Strategies to Reduce Challenging Behaviors and Promote Social-emotional Skills: This training will be a general overview of the Connect the Dots Curriculum that can be used with parents to enhance social and emotional skills and reduce problem behaviors. It will cover four basic principles or “dots” including Ensuring Supportive Environments, Encouraging Positive Behaviors, Emphasizing Positive Discipline, and Embracing Unique Strengths. Participants will learn where to find additional resources for this curriculum and why it is a helpful curriculum to use with families of all ages but especially those with young children to change challenging behaviors and improve positive family dynamics.
