Due to high demand and many personal requests, Prophecy Ink is proud to host another tattoo event, similar to the event hosted in 2015 in memory of our dear friend Angela. Many people have shared their personal stories with us and how the last event helped them in many ways.
Did you know that Kentucky ranks 16th in the nation for suicide death? It is the 11th leading cause of death and the 2nd leading cause of death for ages 10-34 in Kentucky. Did you know an average of 22 military veterans take their own life every day?
One of the saddest facts of these statistics, is that nearly everyone has been affected by suicide.
Project Semicolon was founded in 2013 by Amy Bleuel to honor her father who was lost to suicide. The project has helped over 5.3 million people nationally. Sadly, Amy took her own life in March 2017.
Active Heroes is a Louisville, KY based organization founded in 2010 by Troy Yocum. His grandfather, a WWII vet committed suicide. After joining the military himself, Troy noticed this was a trend among his fellow servicemen and women. He wanted to bring awareness to the problem as well as help prevent further suicides. They have directly saved the lives of over 800 veterans.
There will be guest tattoo artists on hand from several local shops to reduce wait time and insure no one is turned away. The event will last 12 hours, from noon to midnight.

There will be 3 semicolon size options available to choose from. Black/grey are $20 and color $30. Tattoos will be first come first serve. (Please do not call the shop to make appointments)
If you have a previous semi-colon tattoo that needs touch-up, we will do this for $10.
50% of every tattoo will be donated to the above listed charities. The artist also have the opportunity to donate their 50% to the charities. Prophecy Ink is donating the shop for the day and all support
