We know about the limestone water, the climate and the heritage that make Kentucky bourbon such an icon in the spirits industry. But what about those grains, the magic kernels that transform branch water to gold? Join us for a wide-ranging dinner lecture by executive director, Dr. Paul Cappiello, covering the natural history, the botany and the chemistry that make these iconic grains the stuff of myth and magic. Enjoy specialty bourbon cocktails, a luscious dinner and lecture right in the heart of the distillery, a behind the scenes tour plus a bourbon tasting led by Head Distiller, Jade Peterson of Kentucky Artisan Distillery the home of Jefferson’s Bourbon.
