Kris Parmelee, President
Kris Parmelee is Founder and President of Parmelee Consulting Group, Inc. (PCG). She specializes in SBIR/STTR preparations and submissions and has worked on over 250 proposals during her tenure. Her proposals have been submitted to all 11 participating federal agencies for a range of SBIR/STTR-related funding opportunities.  Her depth of experience in the grant writing field has allowed her to create a highly refined process that provides maximum efficiency and results in quality and competitive proposals.
After more than 17 years as a consultant, Kris has developed long-term relationships with many of her clients. It’s not just about a single project; it’s about creating opportunities for meaningful engagement and growth—for both PCG, Inc. and the client.  She works closely with a wide range of small businesses and research institutions, such as Indiana University and Purdue University to support their faculty through the SBIR/STTR process. She reads an average of 25 summary statements per year, which makes her acutely aware of trends and themes among granting agencies and review panels.
