In a partnership with The University of Louisville's Muslim Student Association, Interfaith Paths to Peace Presents "Combating Hate with Peace: Muslim Perspectives". 
A Tending Roots: Compassionate Education Series and Islamic Awareness Week joint event, Combating Hate with Peace: Muslim Perspectives seeks to answer the question of whether it is possible to fight hate with non-violence. Panelists will share personal expereinces and Islamic perspectives on Islamophobia and the importance of Interfaith unity. 
Featuring Aaisha Hamid, Khadija Mahmoud, Mehwish Zaminkhan, Maria Zaminkhan, and Rona Osman, these five Muslim women will provide reflections on three pre-determined questions and will answer questions from the audience. The event is moderated by Christiaan Faul of the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. 
Join us on Wednesday, March 27th, 2019, from 6-7:30 PM at the Chao Auditorium in Ekstrom Library, on University of Louisville's campus. A light reception will follow. 
Tickets are $15. Children and students are free.
