Join us Monday, March 25, 2019 for our next Neighborhood Roundtable where the Vacant & Abandoned Property Community Discussion Continues!
Our first community discussion on this issue in January was a resounding success with over 100 people attending.
The formal agenda begins at 5:30 pm with a presentation from Colleen Younger, the Jefferson County Property Valuation Administrator, or "PVA" on your right to appeal your property tax assessment. Colleen and her team will discuss a new and expanded program to help homeowners exercise this important right. We will also review the findings gleaned from our initial breakout sessions in January.
With your help, New Directions intends to build on this success as we continue to delve deeper into the issue and begin to look for more comprehensive and coordinated solutions to this complicated issue.
