“One of the greatest privileges and advancements of believers, both in this world and unto eternity, consists in their beholding the glory of Christ.”
So said John Owen (1616-1673) in his Meditations and Discourses on the Glory of Christ. He wanted to convince his readers that nothing, in this life or the next, is more important than understanding and enjoying God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Cor. 4:6).
The same attitude is reflected in the songs of heaven:
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain,to receive power and wealth and wisdom and mightand honor and glory and blessing!”(Revelation 5:12, ESV)
If heaven never gets tired of praising the Lamb who was slain, we shouldn’t either.
That’s why we’ll gather in Louisville, KY July 31-Aug. 3 for WorshipGod19, The Glorious Christ: Music is great. Jesus is greater.
For three days we’ll have the opportunity to expound, extol, exult in, and enjoy the glory of God’s Son, Jesus Christ, through music and the Word. We’ll return home knowing better why Jesus is worthy not only of our songs, but our affections, our attention, our very lives.
Our main session speakers this year are Jared Mellinger, Matt Mason, H.B. Charles Jr., Joselo Mercado, Michael Reeves, and Rick Gamache. Seminar speakers and musicians include Mike Bullmore, Matt Boswell, Adam Wright, Daniel Renstrom and Brook Hills Music, Devon Kauflin, the Immanuel Church Nashville band, Jordan Kauflin, Joe Pace, and more.
If you've been to a WorshipGod conference before, you already know about the giveaways, free lunches, open rehearsals, and an atmosphere that focuses less on professionalism and production and more on faith-filled participation.
But we've made some great changes this year that include:

a new location to accommodate more breakouts
early end times on Thursday and Friday to allow for debriefing over dinner, meeting new friends, jamming together, or retiring early!
a main session devoted to showing how arranging and mixing work together
a gospel choir led by Joe Pace and made up of WorshipGod attendees
a bilingual experience, including a message in Spanish translated into English
panels with main session speakers
and more!
