Introducing our 201 series! Go deeper into specific wine regions and expand your knowledge. No need to attend 101 sessions first, all are welcome.
Our. favorite. region.
Burgundy (Bourgogne, en français) is arguably the finest wine region in the world. It is a small but mighty region that produces the world's best Pinot Noir (Bourgogne Rouge) and Chardonnay (Bourgogne Blanc).
Burgundy is a wine-growing region, and the vignerons that tend their highly-valued plots of land see themselves as wine growers, not wine makers. The concept of terroir is of the utmost importance - Wine Folly defines terroir as "the symbiosis of grapes, soil, climate, vineyard placement, and human touch" and we agree. When you drink a glass of Burgundy, there is no mistaking where it came from. That stamp and its allure are some of the many reasons that the region makes some of the world's most sought after wine.
If it sounds inaccessible, it's not! We always have Bourgogne Rouge and Bourgogne Blanc on our by the glass list, and we work hard to keep affordable bottles available in the shop.
We've been looking forward to this one for a long time, and we can't wait to have you join us.
$30 per person, inclusive of gratuity and tax.
