We've got a packed agenda for this month's topic AND a donation opportunity for you.
First, we'll hear from Dondrea Owens, The Creative's CFO, who will share about the do's and don'ts of charitable giving for small businesses. Then we'll hear from Michelle Dayvault, Executive Director of Dress for Success Louisville (DFSL). She'll talk to us about her nonprofit and ways the business community can support their work. Lastly, we'll learn about #GivingTuesday, a worldwide movement of philanthropy on Tuesday, December 3, 2019.
Your Chance to Give Back - Donate Needed Items to Dress for Success Louisville
Our nonprofit partner for Philanthropy Month is Dress for Success Louisville. They have a current need for some specific items, so let's help them out by cleaning out our closets and donating!
Needed Items:
Closed-toe shoes in excellent condition that are flat or low-heeled pumps
Conservative, professional jewelry
Purses in excellent condition
Bring items to our meeting on November 12 or drop them off at the DFSL office during their monthly donation day on Saturday, November 16, 9 am - 12 pm.
