Description
Four Roses Tasting with Master Distiller Brent Elliott
Event Details
The legendary Four Roses brand was trademarked in 1888 by Paul Jones, Jr. from his offices on Whiskey Row in Louisville. Today the company distills ten separate bourbons using two mash recipes and five yeast strains.
Brent Elliott has been involved in producing Four Roses Bourbons since 2005 and was named Master Distiller in 2015. He ensures that each Four Roses product has the fruity, smooth and mellow character, along with a hint of spice, that the brand has become known for around the world.
Brent will bring us through a tasting of their Small Batch and Small Batch Select bourbons. Brent selected and mingled six of Four Roses’ 10 Bourbon recipes, each aged a minimum of 6 years, to handcraft Small Batch Select. Non-chill filtered and 104 proof, their newest permanent product-line extension offers truly unique flavor characteristics. Balancing notes of candied fruit with warmth and spice, Small Batch Select is enjoyable to both casual drinkers and Bourbon connoisseurs. Small Batch Select is currently available in only four states.
