Join your neighbors for a fun Sunday afternoon Golf Cart Poker Run
Event Details
POKER RUN
Purchase your ticket and join your fellow neighbors for a fun Sunday afternoon event! On Sunday, October 17th teams will meet at The Grand of Prospect for the first Golf Cart Poker Run. Participation is limited to the first 50 team tickets purchased. Don't Delay!
Sign-in will be from 1:30 - 2:00pm. Promptly at 2:30 pm the run will begin! Each team will be given a card and clue to start the run that will lead them to their next stop! There will be 20 total stops located all around Norton Commons where teams will collect more clues and poker cards. When picking up your poker cards & clues, the cards will be distributed by a person at that location. Feel free to ask questions and shop a little! Be kind & remember that this is NOT A RACE but a fun event!
Rules are subject to change and judges will have final say in awarding the prizes. Teams will then meet for an after party and awards ceremony at Gustavo's Mexican Grill right here in Norton Commons. We are excited to announce that a NoCo favorite, Colton Kise will be entertaining us with his country stylings!
Cash Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 poker hands! You must be present to win!
CART DECORATING CONTEST (OPTIONAL)
To add to the fun there will also be an optional cart decorating contest for those that want to participate. Judges will be looking for creative, well-crafted, colorful and fun carts. Decorations must be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages.
Prizes will be awarded for Best Decorated Golf Cart. Drive by Judging will occur by the residents of The Grand between 2:00-2:30pm. No late entries.
Rules are subject to change and judges will have final say in awarding the prizes.
Winners must be present to win.
RULES & NOTES
-This event is for residents, 21 and over.
-No Pets
-Must have a valid Drivers license to operate a golf cart.
-Please follow the rules of the road!
-Do Not Drink & Drive
-This event is not held in conjunction with Norton Commons HOA or Developers. Organizers and judges cannot participate and are strictly volunteers. Organizers and judges cannot be held liable for any bodily damage, vehicle damage or property damage. Release of liability is acknowledged by purchasing your ticket and participating in this event.
-Any proceeds after expenses & prizes will be donated to a local charity.
-If you have any of the signs or symptoms of COVID-19, do not come to this event.
-This event is being organized so you will have a fun time socializing with your Norton Commons neighbors and supporting the businesses that have agreed to support our event.
- While it is competitive, it is all about having fun!! BE KIND!!!
