Mid South Advisory Council on Military Education (ACME) is excited to announce registration is now open for the 6th Annual Symposium. This year's symposium will be held at the Greater Louisville Chamber of Commerce. Please join us as we welcome many informative speakers, promote discussion among institutions, and rekindle relationships. This year's speakers include the Department of Defense providing current information and updates that affect how higher education serves our military connected students. We will also hear from Education Service Officers from the Army, National Guard, and Coast Guard, Headquarters ACES, Kentucky Military Affairs, Folds of Honor, two panels, and much more.
Our event will kick off on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. with a Riverboat Cruise on the Mary Miller, downtown Louisville. The cruise will include a dinner buffet, DJ, cash bar, and a 2 hour cruise. The symposium will begin at 8:45 a.m. sharp on Thursday, June 20, 2019, with breakfast and registration starting at 8:00 a.m. and will conclude at 5:00 p.m. We have a block of rooms reserved at The Galt House, downtown Louisville. The room rate is $122.00. Further information with a link to book the hotel, will be provided in your registration packet. The cost for this year's event is $130 per person, which includes the dinner cruise on June 19, breakfast and lunch on June 20. All events are in walking distance to the Galt House. Please also consider providing a Sponsorship to Mid South ACME. Sponsorship's fund our scholarships each year. The levels are $1,000, $800, $500, and $250.
