The Kentucky Derby conjures images of horses, bourbon and fancy springtime outfits. If you've lived in Louisville long enough, you know that no matter your plans, the two of the most important decisions you make are what you place on your head and the cocktail you have in your hand. This hands-on experience covers both.
Join us and our sponsor, Woodford Reserve, as we ignite your Derby spirit by sharing our favorite seasonal libations and showing you how to create your own custom headpiece.
As you browse local shops for just the perfect creation to complete your ensemble, you will discover that many of your favorite designs come from Envogue Designs. Envogue owner, designer and fellow Whisky Chick, Velma Watkins, knows how to add just the right amount of pizzazz and zing to any outfit. She will be the one leading this informative and fun workshop, sharing techniques and methods for creating the perfect fascinator to complement your Derby outfit.
The all-inclusive ticket price includes cocktails, small bites and supplies to create one fascinator. Guests will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of styles, colors and accessories. Tickets are $60 for members and $75 for non-members.
NOTE: If there is something special you want to include on your fascinator, such as a certain color flower or feather, please bring it with you and we help incorporate it into your design.
Attendees must be 21 years of age or older. No exceptions.
Tickets are not refundable but can be transferred.
