A dynamic group of media makers, new Americans, activists, students, religious leaders, and creative influencers from across the political spectrum will convene in Louisville to fight for more accurate media narratives in their local communities.
Together, we will reimagine American identity in the 21st century.
The summit will explore ways to tell the full story of our nation through digital, entertainment, and news media. We will hold critical, and sometimes uncomfortable, conversations about our country, its promises of freedom, justice, and liberty and our struggle to realize those promises in every generation.
Participants will have access to three tracks:
Exploring American identity through media, storytelling, and entertainment
Changing the future, community to community: leadership and organizational development
Mental health and self-care: healthy habits, less burnout, and more culture change
In addition to music, dance, comedy, spoken word, drama, and art, the summit will feature:
Innovative workshops and opportunities to hear from movement leaders in the media, entertainment, faith, and grassroots organizing realms
