Magnolia Montessori

Description

A teacher-led, shop-front, one room Montessori school, based on the principles of the Wildflower network. We serve toddlers from 12 - 36 months of age. Magnolia Montessori was started by three Louisville-based Montessori teachers with a wide range of experience and talents: Clare Gervasi, Sam Universe and Whitney Harrell. It is currently headed by Whitney and staffed with a group of talented educators from diverse backgrounds. Our school is a teacher-led, shop-front, one-room, bilingual school, which practices the principles of the Wildflower network, of which Magnolia is an affiliate. We serve toddlers ages 12 - 36 months with an individualized Montessori curriculum and evidence-based, responsive care. Our mission is to work with our neighboring community to practice Montessori principles in the world. Through collective accountability, mutual trust, and understanding, we hope to create an environment for our children, families, and teachers to continually develop and express our fullest potentials.
