Description
Known locally for years as the “Mitchell Building”, this venue has done more than stood the test of time, it has lived the times.
In 1891 this building was razed as the Charles Stubenrauch Saloon, years later evolved into a hub of business, becoming Frankfort’s Packard sales and service dealership in 1936 operated by the Paul Miller Garage.
In 1945, the ownership transferred to Orby Jackson and Thomas Spaulding, who operated a wholesale fruit and restaurant called the “Broadway Grill”. Over the next 20 years, several more businesses utilized the space ranging from taxi service, an Army surplus store and eventually the Endicott distributing company. Frequently Asked Questions
