Simply put, WaterStep is an organization that believes everyone should have access to safe water and that no one should suffer from waterborne illnesses. We believe the best solutions are rooted in training and readily available technology. We empower local populations to avoid perpetual dependency by sharing our knowledge and technology to provide safe water solutions in-country. In addition to donations, our primary source of funding comes from a shoe recycling program, which provides micro-business opportunities in developing communities and reduces landfill waste.
