Y-NOW Mentoring Services

Description

Y-NOW is the mentoring component of YMCA Safe Place Services in Louisville, Kentucky. For the past 11 years, we've worked exclusively with youth (age 11-15) who have or have had an incarcerated parent. Safe Place Services is the social services branch of the YMCA of Greater Louisville. We operate three primary programs -- Shelter House (a 24-bed, 24/7 residential facility for teens in crisis), Street Outreach (supporting homeless teens and young adults) and Y-NOW Mentoring Services. All of our services are free, and more than 800 teens in the Louisville community are helped by the programs and services of YMCA Safe Place Services each year.
