We are a Catholic Organization that provides a well-balanced meal every Monday thru Friday to anyone who comes to our door. We currently feed 400 - 500 men, women and children daily. Would you like to help? Please call us. 502-589-0140 Franciscan Kitchen is part of Franciscan Shelter House, Inc. and is a 501C3 Non-Profit Organization. The Franciscan Kitchen serves food free of charge to all who come. Buffet Service is available from Monday - Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. as well as on the LAST Saturday of the month also from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The work of the Franciscan Kitchen is Volunteer driven by individuals, fraternal organizations, student groups from parochial elementary and high schools as well as from Bellarmine University, the Conventual Franciscan Friars, staff of different offices of the Mayor of the City of Louisville, civil organizations and corporations. Food is provided by individual donors, benefactors in the food industry in Louisville as well as purchased using resources received by donations from individuals, fraternal organizations, parish communities, corporations, etc. Thank you to those who have helped us serve since 1980.
