Jefferson Memorial Forest & Natural Areas

Description

The Jefferson Memorial Forest is the flagship of Louisville Metro Parks' Natural Areas Division which is responsible for stewardship, nature-based education and recreation across eight other natural areas. Located in the unique knobs region of Kentucky which is characterized by steep wooded slopes rising nearly 450 feet above the Ohio River Valley below, the Forest offers a national park experience just minutes from downtown Louisville.
