Ironworkers Local 70 was chartered for the Louisville KY area on August 6, 1903 by the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Ironworkers. The main office is located in Louisville KY with a sub office in Lexington KY. Our jurisdiction covers 45 counties in Kentucky and 15 counties in southern Indiana.
Our members are hard working men and women which work in every aspect of our trade including steel erection on buildings & bridges, plant maintenance, concrete reinforcing, conveyor work, sheeting, welding, rigging, fence erecting, curtain wall, window wall and a variety of other work.
