Bridge Counseling and Wellness uses an integrative mental health approach toward therapy. That means we acknowledge the whole person; body, mind and spirit, and take into account physical and social factors rather than just the mental or emotional symptoms of a diagnosis to help people achieve greater health, wellness and contentment. Integrative mental health is also sometimes referred to as holistic mental health or mind-body therapy.
At Bridge Counseling and Wellness, we utilize a blend of conventional treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy with alternative approaches such as nutritional supplements, exercise, nutrition workshops and mindfulness practices to help our clients bridge the gap between physical and mental health. We use evidence-based and personalized interventions to assist adults, teens and children with making positive behavioral and lifestyle changes that help them work through difficulties and achieve optimum emotional stability.
