We are applying for 4 CEs with KY Boards of SW, LMFT and LPC. This information will be updated as we receive replies in April or May
The loss of an infant, a stillbirth, or a miscarriage is largely considered the “worst loss” a person can suffer. Learn how you can be at your “best” in the face of a families “worst” through learning about the special issues these families face. Engage in a specially facilitated process to explore your own personal challenges that can affect care delivery to this population. Parents will react widely to their loss, whether anticipated or sudden. Learn how to skillfully respond to their grief both when they are in crisis, and further into the grief process. This course will focus on practical, immediate application of the material if the care providers setting allows.
