Have YOU ever wanted to become a Derby City Roller Girl? Well now's your chance! Come be a part of Louisville's first and only official roller derby league!***NO SKATING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED***The Derby City Roller Girls are starting their next Training Camp session on Sunday, January 20th at Champ's Rollerdrome Louisville. This session will begin around 9:00AM, but you may want to arrive a little early so that we have enough time to gather personal and health insurance information.If you are not able to make this date and time, DCRG accepts new incoming trainees for up to 2 weeks after the official start date (through Feb 3). If you have any questions or concerns about this timeframe, please let us know.PRE-CAMP MEET & GREET NIGHT@ Mile Wide Beer Co.Saturday, Jan 127PM - 9PMCome prepared with your questions about Training Camp!FB event: https://www.facebook.com/events/301774667129087/If you are interested in joining our training camp, please be on time at 9:00AM with the following items:- A driver's license or government-issued photo ID- Proof of health insurance- Comfortable or athletic clothing- Water bottle or sports drink- Mouth guard (molded and ready to be used) - Any skates and pads you already own (quad roller skates with a toe stop, mouth guard, wrist guards, elbow pads, and knee pads are the minimum required equipment necessary to be a DCRG skater).If you do not already own these items, you may be able to borrow some loaner gear or skates for the first few practices.
