SBTS New Student Orientation

Our Fall New Student Orientation will take place on Friday, August 16, 2019. New Student Orientation will lay the foundation for your time at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary here in Louisville, KY. It also gives you an opportunity to interact with fellow classmates, the administration, and your professors. Orientation is required of new on-campus M.A. and M.Div. students.
Required to Attend: 


All new residential M.A. or M.Div students


Online students that are moving from online to residential


Graduates of Boyce college beginning the M.A. or M.Div


Previous new students who entered during the summer term


Not Required to Attend:


Any SBTS seminary graduate beginning a new academic program


Any students studying at an SBTS extension center


Online Students


Re-admitted students


ThM and Doctoral Students


Any student that is commuting from a distance larger than a 1 hour driving time is not required to come but highly encouraged!
