Brew at the Zoo & Wine Too 2019 will be Saturday, August 24th, 5pm-9pm. (VIP entrance at 4pm)
Come celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Louisville zoo and enjoy delicious tastings from craft breweries, wineries and local restaurants, animal encounters and musical entertainment from Kudmani. A selection of non-alcoholic products and water will also be provided.
All proceeds from this fund-raising event will benefit the Louisville Zoo through education, conservation, preservation and cultivation projects. Funds also help keepers and staff provide daily care for hundreds of vulnerable, threatened and endangered species; support conservation research; and deliver science and conservation education and quality family fun to more than 860,000 guests that visit the Louisville Zoo each year.
*VIP ticket holders receive event access at 4 pm, 1 hour before all other event guests. VIP guests will also have access to special animal encounters (weather permitting), private bathrooms and VIP areas with specialty beers and food JUST FOR OUR VIP guests!
NEW THIS YEAR IS AN ENTIRE VIP AREA WITHIN THE ZOO- THE ISLANDS AREA, featuring animals such as little penguins, aldabra tortoises, orangutans, Sumatran tigers, Maylan tapirs, siamangs and babirusas.
*Food tastings 5-7pm (4pm-7pm for VIP guests). Food trucks will be available as well to purchase food.
*Beer/wine available until 8:30pm. Up to 40 oz of beer/wine tastings are included with 2019 General Admission or VIP Brew at the Zoo ticket.
*Non-alcoholic beverages also available 4pm-9pm.
*Guests may bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on the Oasis field lawn.
*Guests receive admission to the zoo prior to event, but must exit the zoo at time of closing (3 pm) and re-enter by having your ticket scanned at beginning of the event. (4pm for VIP or 5pm for General Admisision)
*No food or beverages of any kind may be brought onto Zoo grounds, the parking lot or event space.
*ALL guests must be 21 years or older and must bring a valid ID to the event. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE FOR ANY REASON.
* RAIN OR SHINE! THE SHOW WILL GO ON!
* NO BABIES OR CHILDREN PERMITTED. NO EXCEPTIONS.
* NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES.
