Roll-to-roll manufacturing based on traditional printing processes has been an established technology for over a century. Integrating nanomaterials into the inks extends these manufacturing techniques to more functional devices. This workshop will introduce the uses of nanomaterials into roll-to-roll processes and discuss the engineering of the inks as well as post-deposition processes towards wide area high speed manufacturing. Consideration of costs, nanomaterials production, existing deposition techniques, post-processing and handling will be discussed.
